How the Resource page works

Resources may support:

  • Orientation and shared understanding
  • Learning pathways and guided sessions
  • Governance and compliance responsibilities
  • Day-to-day practice at stations

You may encounter resources that are:

  • Short or in-depth
  • Policy-focused or practice-oriented
  • Written, recorded, or interactive

Each resource includes a brief description to help you decide whether it’s relevant to you.

A note on sources

Resources on this page may link to materials hosted by NCRA/ANREC or to resources created by partners, member stations, or sector organizations.

When external resources are included, they are selected because they are:

  • Relevant to community and campus media
  • Aligned with sector values and standards
  • Useful in practice

Including a resource does not imply endorsement of all content from an external source.

Learning that supports action

Resources are part of a broader learning system that includes orientation, pathways, and facilitated learning opportunities. They are here to support understanding and action — whether you’re preparing for a role, navigating a responsibility, or looking for guidance at a specific moment.

Section 1 — Upcoming Learning

Learning opportunities that are scheduled and open for registration.

Includes:

  • Live online sessions
  • In-person sessions
  • Hybrid sessions

Why this works:

  • Most urgent information first
  • Clear call to action
  • Naturally time-limited

Section 2 — Available On Demand

Learning opportunities you can access at any time.

Includes:

  • Recorded webinars
  • Conference session recordings
  • Curated video or audio learning (including YouTube, when appropriate)

Why this works:

  • Reduces pressure
  • Encourages self-paced learning
  • Keeps value visible after live delivery

Section 3 — Past Learning (Archive)

A record of learning that has taken place but may no longer be available.

Includes:

  • Past live sessions without recordings
  • Time-bound discussions or caucuses

Why this works:

  • Preserves institutional memory
  • Shows scope and continuity (important for funders)
  • Avoids “dead links” in primary sections

This section can be collapsed or lightly styled.
