Getting Started

Where everyone begins; a shared foundation to help people understand how this organization works, what we value, and how we learn.

Think of this as the groundwork.

Before moving into specific learning pathways, this section covers what’s most helpful to know first.

These sessions focus on orientation, common language, and expectations. They are designed to ensure that everyone starts from the same place, with a clear understanding of who we are, why we exist, and how we work together.

For most people, Getting Started includes a small number of core sessions that everyone completes. Once you’ve moved through them, you’re not “finished” — you’re ready.

From here, learning continues through structured pathways that support deeper skill-building, specialization, and ongoing growth over time — whether that’s governance, programming, leadership, or other areas of practice.
